Three ways to make your signature
- Draw: sign in the box. The line gets thinner when you move fast and thicker when you slow down, like a real pen. Use Undo to remove the last stroke.
- Type: type your name and pick from eight handwriting styles. Good when you don't have a touchscreen.
- From a photo: sign a sheet of white paper with a dark pen, take a photo, and choose it. The tool keeps only the ink and makes the paper transparent, so your real signature looks natural on digital documents. Move the threshold slider if faint strokes disappear or grey paper remains.

Adding your signature to a document
- PDF: use Sign PDF to place your signature on any page, or insert the PNG with your PDF editor.
- Word: Insert → Pictures → choose the PNG, then set Wrap Text to "In Front of Text" and drag it onto the signature line.
- Google Docs: Insert → Image → Upload from computer, then choose "In front of text".
- Email signature: add the PNG with the email signature generator.
Tips for a natural-looking signature
- On a computer, a touchpad or graphics tablet gives a smoother line than a mouse. On a phone, sign with your finger in landscape for more room.
- For the photo method, use a thick black or blue pen, plain white paper and daylight, and keep the phone parallel to the paper.
- Blue ink is common for originals and helps show a document was signed rather than photocopied.
Is an image of a signature legally binding?
In many countries, electronic signatures (including a signature image added with the signer's consent) are legally valid for most everyday agreements, under laws such as the US ESIGN Act and the EU eIDAS regulation. Some documents, such as wills, property deeds or certain government forms, may need a handwritten or certified digital signature.
